We covered interior remodeling projects in another post — new baths, kitchens, master suites — and now we’re taking it outside. Additions for more kitchen space, a new family room, a garage or revamping your home’s exterior and adding living space are all popular projects.

Working outdoors also means we’re likely moving earth, excavating for a new foundation or prepping for new concrete work. New utility lines have to be run or extended — and avoided if digging. Most of these projects will require permitting and inspections from your municipality.

Find your project and see our pricing guidelines and get your budget in order. All price points are where we start.

Decks & Patios

  • $40,000 for a basic deck or patio. That means a single level, with a basic lighting and electrical plan. The material will be high-quality synthetic decking, pavers or a decorative concrete surface.
  • $95,000 for a full outdoor living area. We’re essentially building you a living room outside — with an outdoor kitchen, a screened porch, a roofed area, sound and video systems, with fire feature or water feature.

Adding On

Sometimes you simply need more space — for an in-law suite, more room in your kitchen, or a new or expanded garage.

  • $195,000 for a new first-floor master suite. Building an addition to create a first-floor bedroom suite, usually including a master bedroom and bath, walk0n closets, a dressing room or a sitting room.
  • $225,000 for a kitchen addition. We demolish your old kitchen, and build an addition for the new one. These projects often include a family room, mud room, or laundry room as part of the whole project.
  • $80,000 for a basic garage addition. A simple space with an unfinished interior.
  • $150,000 for a finished space. We finish the garage’s interior or create a space above the garage for added living space.

Exterior Makeover

With the housing stock in the Delaware Valley, there are many homes that simply need a facelift to look great again.

An exterior makeover will start at $75,000. That includes new siding, roofing, windows, doors, and a lighting plan. Variables will include the materials you choose — stone, fiber cement siding, stucco or vinyl, for example.

Custom Home Building

Who hasn’t wanted to build a home to their own specifications and tastes? First thing you need to do is find a buildable lot. Then we start planning. A new custom home will start at $225 per square foot, with your choice of finishes and design. That doesn’t include the costs associated with improving the lot, like building the driveway, installing a septic system or tying in to an existing sewer system, a well, site engineering, and landscaping.

Whatever your dream project is, we’d love to talk to you about it. Drop us a note, and we’ll get right back to you.
