Think. Build. Live!

We listen to you. Then we translate your dreams into thoughtfully crafted spaces you will love.

Remodeling your home is a big decision. Actually, it’s a series of decisions, big and small, that add up to a perfect solution for the way you live. Our goal is to exceed your expectations, and we’ve refined a creative, collaborative process that does just that.

Here’s how it works:

Think.

This is where your vision meets our expertise. We listen to you, then we explore options that work within your budget.

Planning & Budgeting

Our initial meetings are focused on getting to know you and what you want to achieve. Once we understand your budget and agree on the concept, we create a Project Development Agreement that allows us to refine our conversations into space plans and actual costs.

Cake & Icing: Pete, our CEO, likens project costs to cake and icing. “Cake is the cost of construction, including sub-contractors, lumber, and materials,” Pete says. “Icing is everything under the client’s control: product selections and finishes.”

Once we agree on a final plan, your project manager works with our subcontractors to get the best quality and price. Meanwhile, you work with our designers to choose everything from cabinets and flooring to fixtures and finishes. When you approve the final budget, construction begins.

Build.

The fun starts when we turn your plan into reality. Our designers help you make selections, and we dive into construction.

Preparation, Selections & Construction

The Construction Agreement specifies all the work to be done, sets the final price, and outlines the payment schedule. We set a start date and generate a week-by-week construction schedule you can access through our client web portal. That’s where you can track your selections, budget, and get daily progress updates.

We get all required permits, and let your neighbors know what’s going on. When we set up your jobsite, we carefully protect non-affected areas so you can live with as little disruption as possible. If you’re living in your home during a kitchen remodel, we’ll even pull together a temporary kitchen if it’s needed.

Weekly meetings keep everyone up to date, and construction usually proceeds smoothly. In a matter of weeks, you’ll start to see your dream take shape!

Walk Through & Wrap Up

Remodeling projects are complex, and we want to make sure every aspect of our work exceeds your expectations.

By the time your project ends, we’ve spent a lot of time together. Thanks to our daily online updates and weekly in-person meetings, there are very few loose ends.
During our walk-through and wrap-up, we’ll make sure all punch-list items are completed and the project is truly finished. Then it’s time to pop the champagne!

Lifetime Warranty

Even though your project ends, our commitment to you doesn’t. We stand behind our work for as long as you own your home. We do 6-, 12- and 24-month follow-ups, and we’re available anytime you need us after that.

“We worked with Spring Creek Design on a large project: the majority of our first floor was completely renovated. We were very happy with the design-build component – the architect, designer, and contractors all worked together continuously and efficiently throughout the project. Our project manager was on-site overseeing all contractors throughout the entire project – his attention to detail and client advocacy was consistent and impressive.

One of the reasons we hired Spring Creek Design was because of their open communication and client-centered advocacy throughout the process. We love our new space. Our designer, Kyra, got to know our preferences and tirelessly helped us with the sometimes overwhelming amount of selections to be made. We recommend them not just for their expert work and professionalism during the project, but for the follow-up they do after the project as well.”
