Basement Remodeling

A media room and a bar? Maybe a game room and a private office?
Remodeling your basement is one of the best ways to make your home function better.
Best of all, it increases the value of your home by using its space more thoughtfully.

Muted Sophistication in Glenmoore, PA

Conceived as a retreat from the adjacent kid’s area in this finished basement, the clients wanted a cool, contemporary space. We designed mahogany wainscoting and cabinetry with clean lines and modern appeal. A concrete countertop provides mass and offers an industrial contrast to the woodwork. The space includes a bar, a pool table, a ceiling-mounted projector, and an 80-in. screen.

Lower-Level Transformation in West Chester, PA

The lower level of our client’s split was a dark, crowded afterthought. Working together, we came up with a plan that completely transformed the space – and the rest of their home. We revamped the laundry room and added a much-needed powder room. Then we created a second family room, as well as a pantry and tons of storage. Same house, reborn!

Perfect Spot in West Grove, PA

How much fun can you create in 450 sq. ft.? Plenty! This small-but-mighty basement remodel relies on carefully designed built-ins to maximize the use of space. The media area includes a built-in leather couch and a beautiful concrete bar. Under-stair storage features custom drawers. A second bar hides a kegerator, and built-in cubbies hold the client’s fly-tying materials.

Classic Pub Bar in Lancaster, PA

Our clients wanted to add a classic “clubby” pub bar in their basement for friends to gather around.
We created a custom bar base using cherry plywood and solid cherry trim. The countertop is poured concrete.
Features include both wine and standard under-counter refrigerators, under-cabinet lighting, and a wall-mounted TV. Cheers!
