I always try to be a glass-half-full kinda person…I truly believe that a can-do attitude is a powerful talisman against hard times. Optimism has kept our spirits buoyed, and our business in growth-mode, despite the pervasive gloom that has become the fashion among small business people of late. So its great to see some documented proof of my assertion that things are pretty good – and getting better!
Harvard University’s Joint Center for Housing Studies released its LIRA (Leading Indicator of Remodeling Activity) report for Q3 2012, and the news is really encouraging. Not only has growth in remodeling been pretty steady for the past few quarters, but Harvard is predicting double-digit (16.6%!!) growth by the second Q 2013!
So let me give a big “Thanks” to all of you who have had the courage to help Spring Creek Design grow nearly 100% over the past few years. And a big “Welcome” to our new friends and clients as we press on into the dawn of a better day.
