No matter the age of your home, I’d be willing to bet that when you bought it you made a mental list of things you’d like to do to make it more “you”. Some homes need immediate fixing up and others need updating as our lifestyles change over the years. The great thing about remodeling is that it enables you to put your own unique signature on your home. That’s one of the things I probably love the most about my job – working with clients to discover their unique style and designing spaces that will allow them to experience life they way they want to live it. Like a tailored suit or a work of art, no two are exactly alike. Our remodeling designs capture the true passions of our clients and marry them with hand selected materials that reflect their individual personalities.
Over the years, we have designed and built some really amazing remodeling projects that are a true reflection our clients. Here are a few of our favorites that we feel really demonstrate the idea of remodeling designs infused with signature style.
Rustic Reclaimed Cottage with a Modern Twist
A mudroom to accommodate all the pet’s necessities without sacrificing style. A roll-out food bin, antique hooks and knobs for leash storage, and a sturdy yet handsome slate floor.
This award-winning whole house remodel is filled with signature style and unique materials. After adopting a rescue pet, this homeowner decided it was time to get out of the city and find a home in the country with more green space to share with her pup. We carefully mixed reclaimed, primitive materials with simple, modern elements to achieve the modern barn aesthetic the homeowner wanted.
The island was custom fabricated with reclaimed barn wood and the top is made of re-milled antique 2×6 barn floor boards. The legs are antique hand-adzed barn timbers, with a wine rack insert made from antique hay rack spindles.

This family’s home was an old, recently renovated stone farmhouse with a small and quirky floor plan. Converting their barn to living space would provide some much needed elbow-room for this busy clan. In addition to all the normal trappings of modern America, this family keeps chickens, bees and pigs. Ample space for the critters and their kit was a requirement. And they have some other unusual and specialized hobbies. Using salvaged, certified and sustainable materials and methods wherever possible was a must!

Zen Basement

This is a place for the whole family (pets included) to relax and unwind! The homeowners wanted to create a calm and serene environment in natural tones and had some pretty unique storage requests. Under the stairs, we created a series of built-in drawers and a private litter box enclosure!
Now that’s how you hide a litter box!
California Mission Style Patio
Hand-painted mexican tile and plaster finishes complement an exposed-aggregate patio surface, studded with blue, green and red tumbled glass pebbles.
Memories of trips to Sonoma County wine country inspired this patio remodel’s design. The homeowners had dreams of an expansive entertaining space, with an outdoor kitchen area and a real wood-burning fireplace. Materials were selected to complement the owner’s laid-back lifestyle.
